Karolyn Stirewalt is a healthcare attorney and an artist. In addition to private commissions, Splash of Red Studio, LLC was founded in 2010 to bring inspiration and solace to patients and their healthcare teams through customized artwork: "Studies continue to show that patients who feel comfortable and engaged in their surroundings heal faster. Through Splash of Red Studio, I am working with medical facilities, patients and the public to create art that sets a tone of encouragement and wellbeing."
In addition to private homes, Karolyn's work has been displayed at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Hopkins Center for the Arts, WillowBridge Center, Gillette Children's Hospital, the Minnesota Medical Association, Red Devil Equipment, Co., Travel Tags, Inc. and at the Women's Clinic at University of Minnesota's Boynton Health Service.
